Buddhist Epilogues of Great Enlightenment
Great insight and exquisite aphorisms, welcome to read.
1. Seeing curses generates pity
When others scold us, we imagine that our biological parents are helping us overcome our karma. The Buddhist scriptures state that the reason why sentient beings curse themselves is because they have been our parents many times since the Infinite Kalpas. We owe her too much, and she spared no expense in nurturing us, even creating karma. Now that the evil karma has matured, she has received the fruit and has fallen to the point of cursing her own relatives. We should not only not hate him, but also cultivate compassion, shame, and gratitude. Because all sentient beings in the world, like mothers, have sown evil karma for ourselves, they have circulated in reincarnation, fallen into the sea of suffering, and continued to create karma. We are not grateful yet, can we still hate them.
2. Embrace all gains and be willing to help others
Wealth and money are not created by us, nor are they created specifically for us. Money should be provided for circulation, and no one should take it for themselves. The obtained wealth is used for charity and support, and to contribute to the cause of the Dharma. The God of Wealth bestows wealth upon people, not to allow them to store it, but to allow them to circulate it, and those who receive it are merely intermediaries.
3. If one hears ridicule, their heart can tolerate it
No matter how severe others' ridicule, ridicule, and physical abuse may be, we must firmly endure them and regard them as actions that our parents hate but cannot turn into steel. Perseverance is a virtue, and in the six dimensions, Bodhisattvas often have to endure the humiliation of Boromir. Failure to endure humiliation will lead to anger, and the fire of anger will burn down our merits. Long term practice of enduring humiliation will lead to a rounded voice.
4. Do not cast spells for worldly affairs
Liberation is the fundamental, do not easily use the accumulated energy for treatment, fitness, disaster relief, etc. Once you grasp the fundamental, do not worry about the branches and leaves.
5. Those who hold grudges towards themselves will always have a kind heart
To those who hate oneself, one should not retaliate with one's teeth, but with good for evil. Because all living beings in the world are parents, can one feel disgusted towards their parents?
9. If you hear praise, you will feel ashamed
We must always remember our sense of shame. When encountering praise and praise, we must feel even more ashamed and examine our own shortcomings. The Buddha's gaze is drooping, can we still hold others in awe.
10. Less kindness, more self reflection, greater reward
If someone gives us a drop of water, we should treat it as a bowl of water& quot; The kindness of dripping water is reciprocated by gushing springs;, Practitioners should always be satisfied, always have a grateful heart, and hold great thoughts and rewards. Practice is our own business, and regardless of the motives of others, we are always grateful to all sentient beings.
